Ruth was the second daughter of Norman E. Miner and Phoebe Oliphant, born 25th April, 1915 (hence the second name). Phoebe died as a result of Ruth`s birth. Norman employed Catherine Harris to look after the two little girls and eventually married her. They had one daughter Nancy.
Ruth and Louis Charles were married during the war. After Lou returned from the War they went into business and did very well for themselves.

Ruth died in John Flynn Hospital, Tugun, Queensland.

Ruth married Louis Charles Wilbow, son of John Reginald George Wilbow and Gertrude Lilian Conlan, in 1941. (Louis Charles Wilbow was born on 16 Dec 1915 in Seven Hills, Sydney, NSW Australia and died on 18 Dec 2003.)
