My grandmother & Myrtle were half sisters. their mother Rebecca Louisa Millard. Rebecca's father was THOMAS McCRUDDEN, but Rebecca was given the name MILLARD as the parents were not married. Rebecca's mother was RUTH MADDOCK/MADDOX was married to Greorge Millard, but they parted & Ruth took up with THOMAS.
Rebecca was married to LARS ANDERSEN a Danish immigrant their children were Lars d 1884. John Henry d 1901 Boer War, ANNIE MARGREDE, Arthur Hans, & Andrew. ANNIE WAS MY GRANDMOTHER she died from burns in 1922.

Rebecca had a girl ETHEL 1890 two recorded births Millard & Andersen
Rebecca married William Henry Newton 3 months after the birth of Ethel
They had 3 boys William Henry, John & James
William ran off with another woman to Townsville ( just 4get what year) & they had a couple of children

He had one daughter CORAL VIOLA McLACHLAN, Coral married some one with the surname MONROE & Coral died 2003....still looking for her children, have the newspaper notice but doesn't list names only mother etc. Waiting on the funeral director to get back to me
Now this is where it gets tricky MYRTLE was in WARWICK with NEAL McLACHLAN younger brother NEAL.
On Myrtles death cert says she only had one child ROBERT NEIL & was married to Wm McLachlan. Wm's death cert says the same.
Now Neal's death says he has 2 children with Myrtle...Neal & Dorothy May.
So I was hoping you may know someone who may be able to throw some light on this. I see ROSLYN MAY, has died, are there any other children. What about Neal, I don't believe he is ROBERT NEAL, I think he is another person. On Trove there is a Neal 19yr who shot himself in the foot, age is wrong for Robert.
I just need to find some live ones from Myrtles brood. The Andersen children & Ethel were made Wards of the State & The Newton boys went with the father, so they no nothing of their mother, so sad :(
