I went to school with the three daughters Beadlien: Rachel, Margaret and Kathleen. They lived at 3, Briarwood Road, near Woodbine Terrace.
Both Rachel and Margaret were excellent at Maths and taught that subject in Blyth, Northumberland. Rachel was a bridesmaid for me in 1952 but we lost touch later. Kathleen married young and moved to Southampton.
Ellen Hickey had a younger sister, Rita.
