Catherine Card

  General Notes:

Catherine married William, whom she would have known since childhood, as they lived close to each other and would have attended the same school. She was widowed with an infant son 4 years after marriage. She stayed in Frant until the 1881 census, when she was recorded at 47 Camden Rd, with William, moved to 59 Camden Road by 1891 aged 63, living on her own means with a lodger and her nephew Walwyn Boorman, (her sister Esther's son).

• Baptism, 4 Mar 1827, St Albans, East Sussex England.

• Occupation: Governess/Schoolmistress/House Proprietor.

Catherine married William Homewood. (William Homewood was born in 1828 in Frant, East Sussex England and died in 1861 in Frant, East Sussex England.)
