Caleb and Susannah in 1871 were Licenced Victuallers at The White Hall Inn at Sibertswold, Kent (Dover), by 1881 had a Coffee/Dining Room in the High Street in Hampstead, where Rosa died; after which they returned to Caleb's home of Frant to live out their lives, Caleb earning his living as a bricklayer. He was a Journeyman, having completed his apprenticeship when young. He and Susannah are buried in Frant churchyard.

• Baptism, 4 Dec 1839, St Albans, East Sussex England.

• Occupation: Mason, Licenced Vict/Dining Prop/Bricklayer.


Caleb married Susannah Danzey, daughter of Matthew Dansey and Frances Dansey. (Susannah Danzey was born in 1839 in Cambridgeshire England and died on 17 Nov 1906 in Frant, East Sussex England.)
