My relationship to Ellen Brown (I think the Ellen who married Robert Fowler) is on my partner's mothers side. I haven't worked it all out yet because the family was very big. So Brown was her married name. She was Ellen Hill and she married Alfred Brown in Sydney in 1878 or about then, as I haven't got a copy of the certificate. They went to Western Australia sometime in the 1890's. They had 5 children, though I can't find them all. I know that Ellen came back to NSW and all the others stayed in WA. Some of their children and grandchildren came back to NSW and Victoria but a long time later.

Ellen married Robert Fowler, son of William Menzies Fowler and Elizabeth Ross, after 1878.⁷⁸⁶ (Robert Fowler was born on 15 Nov 1861 in Methlick, Aberdeenshire, Scotland UK and died in 1941 in Lidcombe, Sydney, NSW Australia.)

Ellen next married Alfred Brown in 1878 in Sydney, NSW Australia.⁷⁸⁶ (Alfred Brown was born circa 1850.)
