Capt Wigmore and his wife Susan arrived in the Port Phillip district on the ship Theresa in 1841, accompanied by a number of persons of the same surname including another Susan. Presumably these others were children of the Captain. According to the tree Mrs Wigmore was the daughter of Catherine Lane and Michael Casey and these two had another daughter, Eliza, who was born in Cork, Ireland in either 1815 or 1816. My interest relates to Eliza, who married my great-grandfather, Charles Foster Williams. They came out from Bristol, England, landing at Launceston in 1841, having married on the ship Arabian.

Michael married Catherine Lane. (Catherine Lane was born circa 1800.)
