Maurice Ben Remfry was a very good swimmer in Sydney and to keep his sacrifice alive the Balmoral Beach Club has each year the `BEN REMFREY MEMORIAL SWIMMING RACE`. His nephew Bruce Edye was also killed on a 26 O.T.U. RAID 1ST JUNE 1942 over Antwerp.
