Local newspapers of the day are the only record, as his death was never registered. arrived per 'Marquis of Hastings' at Port Jackson in 1828. T/L 1833 #204 & 'Certificate of Freedom' gained 2 May 1835 #486 The picture of the Church is that of the first Christ Church at Mount Vincent in the Mulbring Valley NSW of which Daniel was largely responsible for building.

Daniel married Mary Ashton on 6 Jul 1835 in St Peters C of E, East Maitland, NSW Australia. (Mary Ashton was born in 1814 in Lincolnshire England, christened on 27 May 1814 in St Peters C of E, East Maitland, NSW Australia and died in 1901 in Toronto, NSW Australia.)
