Joshua Rogers was born in South Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 19 May 1858; and died in Mt. Korong,[Wedderburn,] Victoria, Australia, of pneumonia, 4 May 1914. Married at Sandhurst [now Bendigo] Victoria, Australia, 20 April, 1885, Harriet Frances Rose. He resided in Wedderburn, Victoria, Australia and was secretary of the Shire of Korong for quiet a number of years up to the time of his death and was succeeded by his son Charles Hector Gray.
Harriet Frances Rose was born in Wedderburn, 19^th June 1862; her father was born in Stradbroke, county Suffolk, England, in 1835; her mother Eliza -----?, was born at Lambeth, London, England, in 1839.

Harriet married Joshua Rogers Gray Jnr, son of Joshua Rogers Gray Snr and Elizabeth Donald, on 20 Apr 1885 in Sandhurst (now Bendigo), Victoria Australia. (Joshua Rogers Gray Jnr was born on 19 May 1858 in Emerald Hill (Now Albert Park in South Melbourne), Victoria Australia and died on 4 May 1914 in Mount Korong, (Wedderburn) Victoria Australia.). The cause of his death was pneumonia.
