• Residence. Edward and his family once owned Collingwood House the fifth oldest house in Australia. It is now National Heritage Trust. The entrance to St Lukes at Liverpool has a plaque in his honor. He was also Mayor of Liverpool. In 1887 Edward ws gazetted a Justice of the Peace.

Edward married Elizabeth (Eliza or Henrietta) Jane Fowler, daughter of Daniel Fowler and Mary Ann Bursill, in 1875. (Elizabeth (Eliza or Henrietta) Jane Fowler was born on 12 Dec 1853 in Campbelltown, Sydney, NSW Australia, christened in St Lukes C of E, Liverpool, Sydney, NSW Australia, died on 18 Sep 1931 in Moore St, Liverpool, Sydney, NSW Australia and was buried on 18 Sep 1931 in Liverpool General Cemetery, Sydney, NSW Australia.)
