Henry and Jane were married by licence. Witnesses were William Pope and John Woodbridge. Henry and Jane made their X marks. There were marriage records for both 8 and 10 Feb 1803.

On January 1st 1815 Jane and five children set sail in the 'Northampton' arriving in Sydney 18th June 1815. Her husband Henry and Henry's cousin William had already been transported for life as convicts aboard the ship 'Marquis of Wellington' arriving in Sydney 27th January 1815. Their only daughter Frances died 5 weeks after arriving in Australia.
