i.Thomas Welton b 17-11-1822, baptized 23-11-1822 at St Andrew's Church, Ingham. Thomas, age 38, b Hingham Norfolk is on the 1861 census, (shown below), unmarried, agricultural labourer. He is living at Stone Lane in Hingham at the same residence as Richard Mallett (age 57 agricultural labourer b Hingham and his wife Esther (Esther Beale married Richard Mallett on 24-1-1835 Hingham), their daughter Harriett 23, William 17 and grandson Alfred Mallett. Thomas is shown as being "Brother", presumably to Esther, but I did not find a birth record for a sister Esther for this family. Cannot work that one out. Nevertheless I believe he is the right Thomas.
