Tina died aged 72 in a car accident. Her and her daughter (name unknown) were on their way home one night after visiting Oma Catharina and the daughter's car ran off the road and hit a tree. Tina's son died as a baby in a tragic accident when his nurse was washing him and slipped and broke the baby's neck on the side of the bath.

Tina married Walter Smeets. (Walter Smeets was born circa 1892.)
