He left Portsmouth on 8 Apr 1830 on the Lady Feversham and arrived in Sydney on 29 Jul 1830. His employer in the 1837 Muster is stated as being Sydney Hospital (probably as a gardener). His original employer was H. O'Brien of Yass Plains. Henry married Ann Rooney on 23 Aug 1837 in St Patricks Catholic Church, Parramatta, Sydney, NSW Australia. (Ann Rooney was born in 1817 in Dublin, Eire, Ireland UK and died in 1887 in Goonoo Station, Wellington, NSW Australia.) |
