Norman's Mum, was married previously to John Percival Webb, our father-in-common. Our family history is, to say the least, "unusual". John Percival Webb himself was adopted. His real father was the 5th Earl of Lonsdale, Hugh Cecil Lowther, who was once upon a time a famous (and highly controversial) figure in the UK. There are 3 books about him, the best of which is "The Yellow Earl" by Douglas Sutherland (it's a really good read and gives an amazing insight into the excessive ways of Victorian aristocracy). Norman only found out about Ella and my existence in October 2005, and Ella only found out about my existence in January 2004. Ella and I never really had the opportunity of spending as much time with Norman as we would have liked. Nevertheless, we all exchanged a lot of emails so we did get to know Norman reasonably well that way. Source: John Webb - Aug 2013 - by email
Notes for Edith Enid Weber from Terry Whitworth:
Enid Webb was married to John Percival Webb and they had two sons
Brian Michael John Webb born 1938 and Norman Peter Charles Webb ;born 1942 (birthdays are the same just the years are wrong)

Enid Valerie Webb and John Percival Webb divorced and Enid took her two sons with her and then in 1950
married Raymond Thomas Hood and John Percival Webb also re married (do not have her name and they went on
to have two further children a son John and a daughter Ella.

Raymond Thomas Hood was married in 1938 to Edith Merriott and they had just the one daughter Theresa Christine born 25th February 1944 which is the only child that Raymond Thomas Hood ever had

Brian used his stepfathers name of Hood and married and had a two children before he died in 1983 not 1993 as you have it
and Norman used his stepfathers name of Hood and he never ever married or had any children at all whatsoever,

Norman died in March 2013 after a massisve stroke when he was in the local post office and he then died 3 days later in hospital in Boston Lincolnshire., so both Brian and Norman had nothing whatsoever to do with the Hood or Gee bloodline as they were both from the WEBB family trees

I found the above facts out from both Norman's solicitor, and his next door neighbour who had known Norman and been a close friend of his since around 1985
