Mentioned on the 1766 lease of 99 years taken out by his uncle Thomas Palmer for a garden, orchard and eight acres of arable land. Lease 16 Dec 1766 Long Sutton, Somerset Event: Bastardy Bond 14 May 1784 Mudford, Somerset Note: Thomas Squire a carpenter of Long Sutton is adjudged the real and reputed father of a female bastard child born to Susanna Minchington. He is ordered to pay twenty shillings for and towards the lying-in of Susanna and one shilling per week for and towards the keeping, sustenance and maintenance of the said bastard child. Susanna is ordered to pay one shilling per week as well.
