Source: Pamela Coleman @ genes who writes: My Maternal Grandmother standing with her older sister Beatrice - they were very close as sisters and had a very strong bond. Beatrice had a daughter called Evelyn my Mother's first cousin and they grew up to be more like sisters than cousins. My Great aunt Beattie was like a second Grandma to me and I visited her every saturday as she lived in the same road as we did. She was blind from an early age but was a marvellous woman who we all loved dearly.
