Edward (Edwin)
Edwin worked as a labourer on his cousins's (Parkes) property in Parkestown. He married Mary Ann Clayton Nobbs (daughter of the late John, and Mary (Boswell) Nobbs of George St) on 5 July 1853 at St Stephens, Camperdown, and had eight children. At one stage he was the publican of The Foresters' Retreat on Wollongong Rd (there is a record of the yearly licence being granted on 27 April 1858 - if contemporary photos re any indications, the prolific pubs of the period were small and basic). He was listed as owning 50 empty acres in Sydney in an early census

Edwin married Mary Ann Clayton Nobbs, daughter of John Nobbs and Mary Ann Boswell, on 5 Jul 1853 in Camperdown, Sydney, NSW Australia. (Mary Ann Clayton Nobbs was born on 19 May 1835 in Parramatta, Sydney, NSW Australia, christened on 17 Jun 1835 in St James C of E, Parramatta, Sydney, NSW Australia and died on 16 Jun 1902 in Newtown, Sydney, NSW Australia ⁶⁹².)
