I grew up living next to my grandparents Vera and Archibald McNab. Down on the corner of our street lived Frederick, and Donald his son lived opposite. They were the owners of McKay and Boys Pies along with Reg. I am not sure of how the name came about, but Fred's wife was Effie Mackay, I always thought the 'Boys' was similar to 'Sons'. I don't remember seeing much of the family except occasionally we saw Reg's children John, Peter, Robert and Max. Max was about my age.

Archibald married Vera May Boys, daughter of Edward Alfred Boys and Ethel May Venters, on 17 Dec 1919 in Lidcombe, Sydney, NSW Australia. (Vera May Boys was born in 1899 in Granville, Sydney, NSW Australia and died in 1964 in Auburn, Sydney, NSW Australia.)
