George and Hannah had 10 children, of whom 6 were still alive in 1911. Hannah noted that in the census, even though George had died 1898: one of those very helpful mistakes! I just wish I could work out who all the other children were. I know of none older than Mary Hannah - though it seems very likely that there were some. George was a labourer, so moved around the country to follow the work. I haven't managed to find Hannah in the 1871 census, even though I've found George - I'd hoped that would find me some more children.
