IMMIGRATION TO AUSTRALIA HAS BEEN VERY HARD TO TRACE FOR MYGRANDFATHER WILLIAM PARKER AS AT ONE STATE I THOUGHT HE HAD COME OUTON ANOTHER SHIP TO THE ONE I AM 90% SURE IS THE RIGHT ONE NOW .THROUGHTHE HELP OF A FEW PEOPLE AND ONE LADY WHO THOUGHT HE MIGHT BE THERIGHT ONE ,SHE I BELIEVE HAS PUT ME ON THE RIGHT TRACK AFTER MY WIFELOOKED UP HIS DETAILS IT LOOKED OK.
AS IT STANDS NOW WILLIAM PARKER LEFT FROM LONDON ON THE 12/5/1886 ANDARRIVED BRISBANE 6/7/1886 ON THE DUKE OF WESTMINSTER HE WAS AGED 18WHICH WAS THE CORRECT AGE ALSO A PROTESTANT WHICH WAS SPOT ON AND THATHE CAME FROM GLOUCESTER AND THAT INFORMATION HAS PUT THE ICING ON THECAKE .APPARENTLY HE WAS A BAKER BUT HIS MARRIAGE 6 YEARS LATER GIVESHIM AS A LABOURER BUT HIS DEATH HAS HIM AS A PAINTER WHICH WAS MYFATHER'S WORK.

INFORMATION WHICH I FOUND WAS FROM THE SHIPPING AND READS AS FOLLOWS......REF. IMM 121.....MICROFILM Z1963......MICROFILM 1701 AND 1702ARRIVED BRISBANE.

SANDRA LOOKED UP THE FILM FROM THE LATTER DAY SAINTS WHICH WAS NO.0355404 AND POSSIBLY NO.241 ADDED TO IT SOMEWHERE.

AS WILLIAM WAS STATED ON HIS MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE AS COMING FROMGRAFTON EVERYTHING IS FALLING INTO PLACE.
