Susan Hanning met John Walters sometime around 1863, right around the time her husband John Jeffery passed away, and went on to have 12 children with John Walters. I don't think they ever officially married though. Susan's death certificate lists her father as John Hayes and mother Susan.

Susan next married John Jeffery, son of John Jeffery and Uranie Figaro, on 17 Mar 1857 in Tumut, NSW Australia. (John Jeffery was born on 28 Jul 1834 in Yass, NSW Australia and died on 12 Feb 1863 in "Mary Ann Vale", Goulburn, NSW Australia.)
