Clara was the 12 child born
All I know from Nan Velveen that John Lynch was a Captain on the boats that travelled the rivers. Don't know how they met, or if they had any children. Nan's father and brother worked bullock teams snigging timber from the bush after being felled in the Wauchope area, that's where I picked up the [4] PAYNE boys again but Nan didn't know where Clara lived with the rest of the family - the girls and younger boys.
They had 10 children the 4th born was my Grandfather Joseph Harold PAYNE
When Clara lost her husband her children ranged from 19 years of age to 9 months. they were living at Dunedoo N.S.W. Arthur Frederick worked a team of horses the older boys were excellent axemen Daniel the eldest holds many titles at the Royal Easter Show wood chopping.
