  • Born: Cir 1780

  Research Notes:

Margie & Dale Partridge notes:
Bridget's grandfather was Anthony Naughton a farmer on the "Earlangly ? Estate" Loushenroe, Parish of Tynagh and is listed in the 1826 Tithe Applotment Book. There is also a John Naughten who could be an uncle or brother of Ned. Interestingly the other tenants were John and Michael Lally. Is this the John Lally that Ned Naughten would six years later be convicted of attacking in a whiteboy raid?

Edward Naughton received his Ticket of Leave No 40/2680 on the 3rd December 1840 allowing him to remain in the District of Goulburn.
The following year on 1st September 1841 Edward made application for government assistance to bring out his wife and 4 children to New South Wales.

Anthony married.
