I am linked to Mary Anna Baker. She is only one of the children of Thomas Baker and Mary Crouch that came to Australia. Mary's brother Samuel arrived in 1838 as well.

Samuel and his wife arrived with one daughter, they lost a daughter in Sussex, they had another nine children in Sydney.

I have been researching each family connection and the inter-play when they arrived in Australia.

Joseph Baker, son of Samuel Baker, married Dumvelia Taaffe

Esther Baker, daughter of Joseph Baker, married George Collins

Robert Collins, son of George Collins, married Marjorie Brown. Their first son is my father, he is still alive.
