I have quite a bit of information about the Bug/Zoeller families in Australia I can share with you. They stayed in the darling downs area near Toowoomba Queensland. I have a copy of the family tree I can send you. I was not able to trace the Bugs earlier than Petrus Josephus and his journey to Australia on Auraria until I found your website.Helena, his daughter, married Michael Zoeller, one of their children was Michael Charles Zeller, who married Auraria Daisy Marion Masterton (of a Scottish and Irish family line). They had four girls, Coralie, Hazel, Melba and Viola Zeller. My husband is Melba's fourth son, John. Her husband was Peter (Thomas Dewey Wright) originally from Croxton Park, Leicestershire UK.
The name changed to Zeller around 1907 when Michael senior died in a horse riding accident (not clear why the name changed though). I have seen it spelt as Zoeller, Zoller, and then Zeller, but family anecdote says it changed after Michael died - Helena seemed to go on as Zeller. I have a copy of her obituary, which states that she as born on Weringa Station, Moonee River (near Dalby). She was quite amazing apparently, and probably needed to be because she had so many wild sons who loved their horses, wine and cattle!
