The Late Mr Jas Duffey Jnr. As a result of an accident by being thrown from his horse while returning home from the Koorawatha races last week, the late Mr Duffey passed away early on Friday morning. When the horse returned home without its rider on the day mentioned, a search party immediately set out and found the unfortunate man in a heap of dust about a mile from his home. He was brought to the Cowra District Hospital, where he received care and attention, but despite all this he passed to the Great Beyond. Deceased, who was 48 years of age, was the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Jas Duffey, 'Waterfall', Koorawatha.A sorrowing wife and family of nine children are left to mourn the loss of one they looked to for guidance and help. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved.
