Christopher Dawson Edmondson was born 1836, Settle YKS. Died 10th April 1910 at Mt. Morgan, Qld, buried 10th April 1910, Mt Morgan. Arrived Melbourne 3rd January 1853 on the "Janet Mitchell". Son of Christopher Edmondson, Solicitor of Settle and Sarah nee' Watson.
1841 Census for Arkholme, Lancashire, Christopher is listed as being in the home of Rev. Richard Mallison as a pupil aged 5 years. The census was taken 6th June.
