General Notes:
John baptised 1786 East Hoathly was the missing link to the Roserfamily in Sussex as the family stopped at his son who was also anotherJohn but was born 1812 at waldron.
Looking through the 1841 census at Waldron I discovered that a JohnRoser head of the house and his wife Ann had living with them a JohnRoser senior and as I new who their children were it confirm that Ihad the right family.
The other thing to do was to prove where this John senior came fromand as I had for a couple of years was almost sure that this Johnsenior was christened at Lindfield Sussex in the year 1752 marriedto Hannah Button.
I had found Hannah's death and worked out that John senior must haveremarried and yes it was to a widower by the name of Sarah Stringer ofWivelsfieldin 1778.
John Harland was his witness and it turns out that he was the soninlaw who lived in Lindfield, once again confirming that I had theright John Roser senior
I was sent some C.R.O. information on some christenings and burials ofsome of the Roser families, little did this person know she had thismissing link just sitting in front of her.
The death of JOHN ROSER DIED 4/5/1845 AGED 59 BORN 1786] his wife Anndied 20/1/1843 aged 51[ born 1792] and another John Roser died21/11/1844 aged 92 [BORN 1752]

John married Ann Evenden, daughter of William Evenden and Elizabeth Gurr, on 21 Feb 1810 in Waldron, Sussex England. (Ann Evenden was born in 1791 in Chiddingly, Sussex England and died on 15 Jan 1843 in Waldron, Sussex England.)
