After Theodore Charles's (1) death from falling off a horse, Elizabeth Roser, his mother, was absolutely devastated. She longed for him for many years and never got over him or the accident, then in 1893 on the exact same day ten years later, she had a child who was born with an uncanny resemblance to the first Theodore Charles Roser. This child, born on the same day of the same month 10 years after the first, was born mentally retarded and had a strawberry birthmark on his face where the first child was injured. He also had brain damage. He lived a live as a child which was deemed "Simple", so back in those days he would have been shunned from society. He died on the 1st December 1899 (aged 6). The same day and the same month as the first, exactly on the 10th anniversary as the first.
Believe it or not…. That is the story from two of the old Roser's \endash including my nanna Amy Gertrude Roser.
