There are OPR references for the 11th in Avondale (Transcribed from OPR Ref. 621/4, FR647) and for the 23rd in Muirkirk (OPR Ref. 607/3, FR833) JEAN ANDERSON was born in Muirkirk (although the 1851 census says Avondale) and baptised on the 26th of June, 1804. (OPR Ref. 607/2, FR451) Daughter of Gilbert Anderson and Jean Blackwood . William and Jean were married in September 1830. There are OPR references for the 11th in Avondale (Transcribed from OPR Ref. 621/4, FR647) and for the 23rd in Muirkirk (OPR Ref. 607/3, FR833).
