Marie Perera notes: Catherine was the godmother to Catherine O'Loughlin ( my grandmother) in New Zealand.
We did not know that Catherine Martha had siblings until I discovered your family connection.

We know that Catherine entered the convent in Adelaide but did not take her final vows instead came to NZ
(as I now know initially to visit her sister Mary Anne) - then Catherine married Michael.

Catherine married Michael McCormack on 29 Jun 1876 in St Marys, Hokitika New Zealand. (Michael McCormack was born in 1840 and died 1913 ? in New Zealand.)
