I believe your Patrick Sinnott, Wicklow is my great, great Grandfather. Patrick was married twice, his first wife Eliza Hardy Sinnott is my gg Grandmother. P & E had 3 children Patrick 1854 - 1936 Coomaweall and Burketown, Queensland, Julia Sinnott Brennan, my great Grandmother and Bart Sinnott 1851 - 1908, unmarried, Killavaney, Wicklow.

I knew that Patrick had married twice and that Esther Darcy nee Heffernan was his second wife and Dennis being a half brother to my g grandmother Julia Synnott Brennan.

Patricks's son also called Patrick left Ireland 1868 approx. working on ships between Dublin and Liverpool, eventually landing in Queensland, 1878 approx. Patrick was the only Policeman in Coomaweal/Burketown 1880, he was quite a character and very successful business person.

Patrick returned to Ireland, 1914, on vacation and visited his sister Julia Synnott Brennan, whom he hadn't seen in 30 years. Patrick, Julia and Bart were estranged from their father, as a result all three Sinnott children changed their surname to a Y Synnott.

In 1919 he was a storekeeper in Camooweal, Queensland
