Patrick was a convict. He was convicted in 1800 received a life sentence and was transported to the colony on the ship 'Atlas'.
Patrick, aged 50, had received a conditional pardon, and was living with Elizabeth aged 53, and were described as settlers.

Patrick married Elizabeth Budden, daughter of John Budden and Hannah, on 29 Jan 1810 in NSW Australia. (Elizabeth Budden was born circa 1771 in England UK, christened on 20 Mar 1771 in Wareham, Dorset England and died circa 1850 in NSW Australia.)
