George Ellis was a furniture maker - woodcarver, etc. in his own business and dad followed on as a furniture upholsterer and operated from a factory on land next to our house. I still have some furniture made by George Ellis.

George married Agnes Vida Thompson Russell, daughter of John Russell and Mary Duggan, on 24 Aug 1904 in St Stephens, Newtown, Sydney, NSW Australia. (Agnes Vida Thompson Russell was born in 1879 in Wickham, Newcastle, NSW Australia.)
