Harriett Brunning was born in 1840 and was baptised with her sister Mahala on the 25 July 1841 in Monewden. She married Charles Barfield who came from Somersham and in the 1881 Census she was living with her husband Charles Barfield and their children in Bramford Works, Bramford, Suffolk. Also living with them was her mother Mahala Wade aged 71. Harriet died about 1887, there is a death registered in the 3rd quarter (July/August/September) of a Harriet Barfield, aged 48. reference No. 4a 410. Pauline Bixby
