Just perusing my old records and found the Suffolk Record Office (SRO) reference numbers for the indenture papers for Nathaniel & James Wade/Brunning.

Sarah Wade was born 1811 and was baptised on the 2 June 1811. Sarah was born Deaf and Dumb from birth but was an apprenticed at the age of 17 to Sarah Walden as dressmaker in Woodbridge. This must have been very traumatic for her when she may have only been able to communicate with members of her own family. She must have overcome this as she finished her apprenticeship and was back home dressmaking until her mother died in 1881. 1881 Census: Sarah is living with her nephew (son of John Wade (Brunning) and his wife and daughter in St. Matthew's, Ipswich who were also dressmakers.
