I myself married in to the Hutcheons and Adam worked for many years in Weir pumps in the foundry. For the others Larbert and Falkirk and surrounding areas were world famous for foundries and my dad learnt his trade at Carron Iron Works which was next to Mungul and Larbert foundries. These were still operational up to the last twenty years, they are demolished or changed to other work now.
