& William's middle name Geddes, re adopted son James Geddes or Nicol in earlier generation,
The Nicols and the Peterkins were very close and I can remember Peterkins visiting the family house at 1 High , Street , Wigtown in my childhood, when we spent most holidays in Wigtown.
