Fanny Mary Parry
Noted events in her life were:

• Occupation. governess in the 1861 & 1881 census She had tutored a young Tockington child in music. Basil Harwood, who later became a Doctor of Music. He achieved fame for his compositions for organ and named many of them after local places. After Fanny's death he arranged for a stained glass window to be dedicated in St Mary's Church Tockington as a memorial to the two sisters.
The two sisters remained spinsters and conducted a Dames' School at Cotham House which they inherited on the death of their mother. Each year they conducted a two-day bazaar and raised funds for the Bristol Children's Hospital, a cot being endowed as The Parry Cot. Fanny arranged for a stained glass window as a memorial to her sister and her parents. It was dedicated in August 1918.
