• Occupation. seamstress in 1861 census and governess in 1881 census The two sisters remained spinsters and conducted a Dames' School at Cotham House which they inherited on the death of their mother. Each year they conducted a two-day bazaar and raised funds for the Bristol Children's Hospital, a cot being endowed as The Parry Cot. Fanny arranged for a stained glass window as a memorial to her sister and her parents. It was dedicated in August 1918.
