• source. Rob Train who writes that he moved to Queensland where he changed his name to Trail.
Records show that a George Train was a slector on the property of 'Turee' near Coolah around 1877, possibly leasing some of the land off the property as its holdings were extensive.
He was sentenced in Muswellbrook Court House in 1870 for 5 years for 'horse stealing and feloniously killing cattle', later commuted to 3 years in Bathurst jail.
In 1877 he was also suspected of burning a hut at Boobadeed, near Green Hills, Mudgee Rd, Cassilis.
In 1896 he was charged with fraud

• source. Rob Train who also writes that he leased 49 square miles of 'Cyrpus Down' known as the 'The Endeavour Block' under Occupation licence with his son-in-law Edgar James Millwood in 1907. Cyprus Downs was a large tract of land between St George and Bollon in south west Queensland.

George married Rachel Katherine Mary Francis (Catherine) Scott on 6 Mar 1875 in St John the Baptist, Mudgee, NSW Australia.
