Noted events in his life were: • source. Rob Train who writes that "he died after the completion of WW1, as a soldier on the Western front he was a 'driver/gunner'. After surviving the great trauma of the war, including illness & wounds, he was being transported home by train when a coupling broke and the carriage he was in crashed. He died after a few days and is buring in the La Coulongne cemetery, north of Paris, in Dec 1918" |
