Have finally caught up with all the information I have on Margret Fisher. I am convinced we have the same Margaret. I have a copy of her death transcript. She was married to William John Ditcham at the age of 21. Her father is listed as James Fisher. Her mother is listed as Eliza Booze. However James Fisher was married to Emma Hughes. Emma's sister Eliza Hughes came to Australia with James and Emma aboard the Malvina Vidal in 1853. Margaret was listed as the child of James and Emma on Emma's death certificate and this may have caused some confusion in later years as Emma was 31 when she died. Eliza married a Joseph Bewes and moved to Newcastle so this is where the "Eliza Booze" comes into the picture. I have not been able to locate her birth records anywhere so will have to keep searching for this. She died on 19 October 1887 and is buried at Rookwood Cemetery. The certificate lists 3 males and 1 female living with one female deceased at the time of her death. Her marriage certificate has Maria Fisher (James' Fisher's daughter in law) as a witness. Kez Williams (another contact) has an affidavit for her with Charles Daniel Fisher's (James Fisher's son and Margaret's brother) listed on it.

(William John Ditcham was born on 22 Nov 1854 in Geelong, Victoria Australia, died on 11 Feb 1923 in City Coffee Palace, Pitt St, Sydney, NSW Australia and was buried on 14 Feb 1923 in Rookwood Cemetery, Lidcombe, Sydney, NSW Australia.)
