My gt grandfather was Simeon Lloyd b 1839 and my grandfather Simeon Lloyd Jnr was born 1873 not 1874. He was born 24th December 1873 but not registered until January 1874 he died 14 June 1953, his 50th wedding anniversary was 31st May 1953 and all his surviving children and grandchildren were present (I was 4 and remember the party). I have photos of the event.
