I found your details on your webpage and was hoping you may be able to help me sort out George Robert Orford. George is out on the limb a bit but I question his birth date (11 June 1846 at Sutton Forest NSW) as his parents George ORFORD & Jane HOLLANDS were married 1861.
Seems a big gap unless his father was Alexander DONALDSON who married Jane HOLLANDS 1830 at Sutton Forest. He died 1857.
As George Jnr would have been 11 years old when Alexander died, could he have had a name change to ORFORD when Jane married George in 1861? I can't find a birth for George Jnr in the BDMs.

My information (including dates) came from Margaret Alcorn (nee Orford) whose ggf Thomas Orford(1850-1937) was the brother of George Robert. Her messages to me suggested that George (1802-1889) had a 'relationship' with Jane Donaldson (nee Hollands) which resulted in two sons. They did not marry until after the death of Jane's husband. It is surmised that she was separated from him for many years!

George married Emma Ellen Fellowes, daughter of Spencer Fellowes and Elizabeth Jane Hughes, on 6 Sep 1872 in Nerriga, NSW Australia. (Emma Ellen Fellowes was born on 16 Jul 1852 in Braidwood, NSW Australia and died on 3 Feb 1944 in Nowra, NSW Australia.)
