My name is Chris Rogerson (nee Brown) and I am researching the Garrett Family. My mother Frances was the daughter of Clarence Garrett. I noticed in the information that I found that one of his children was listed as Edgar John Garrett. I am not sure if you are aware of this or not but Edgar - or John as he was known - was not actually the biological son of Clarence and Mildred. John was actually the son of their daughter Norma but they raised John as their son. My mother always referred to John as her brother though. Sadly John was killed in Vietnam in 1968 but I am still in touch with Dianna Briggs (nee Simpson) who was engaged to John at the time of his death and if you wish to have any other information on John I am sure she will be only too happy to provide it.
