I am interested in Jack Bamber because there is a street named after him in my home town, Tully, North Queensland. I am busy researching all the names of our streets so I thought I would contact you to see if you have any other information on Jack. I know he was born in 1900 in Cheshire. I would be particularly interested to know if he served in the armed forces in the UK before he emigrated to Australia in the 1920s.
