Robin Lithcote Garrett (Ellice Vivyan4 Allan, William3, Alexander, William), born 10 June 1915 in Roseville, NSW, Australia, died 28 October 1942 in El Alamein, Egypt, buried in El Alamein, Egypt, resided 27 July 1940 in 129 William Street, Bathurst, occupation 27 July 1940 Bank Officer, Bank NSW. Notes: Robin enlisted at Wallgrove, NSW, 24th June 1940. He was a Bank Officer at attestation, initially naming his father, residing at 4 Roslyn Avenue, Roseville, as his next of kin, but this was changed to Myee Jean; marriage date 20th July 1940. He was confirmed a Lieutenant 21 Sep 1941. His attestation papers show that he was trained in machine gunning and graduated from the skiing school, somewhat ironic, given where he died.
Robin was 6 ft 2 and weighed 188 lbs at attestation.
